Zefiro pays homage to Rome and its baroque alchemy, distilled in a strong and mysterious perfume thanks to its suggestive and elusive formula, akin to the rare magic of an esoteric potion.

Zefiro propagates from arcane circles distilling a mystical essence capable to join heaven and earth. Thanks to the employment of resins - full-bodied incense, above all - it conjures up a stupefying ecstasy reaching up to celestial heights. Its honeyed sweetness is given tone and strength by the balanced accord of amber and spices; the velvety embrace of the resulting composition captivates the senses into the hypnotic whirl induced by wine must and iris.

The Inspiration
In 1861, the individual states of the Apennine peninsula were brought together under the leadership of King Victor Emanuel II to become a united Italy. The young nation had always been home to poets, saints and sailors who, with their special talent for creativity, advanced the reputation of Italy throughout the world. The 150th anniversary of the unification was a very special event for Italy and its people and XerJoff acknowledged this with the launch of its original fragrance XJ 1861 which set the artistic heritage of XerJoff’s home country perfectly in scene.

The Flacon
A classic shape with elaborate golden engravings on the flacon. The precious bottle is crowned by the typical golden and very distinctive XerJoff cap.

The Packaging
150 years full of enthusiasm and indomitable creativity are reflected in the colors of the Italian flag. The color has also been taken up in the artistic design of the packaging.
