Farmacia SS. Annunziata - Arabico 100 ml parfum !
"Arabico" is fortunately not the first fragrance creation that Farmacia SS Annunziata in Florence has enriched us with. The name gives flight to an oriental-inspired creation with Italian finesse.
In fact, the first notes of pepper and bergamot are more reminiscent of a classic Italian cologne than a bona fide Oriental. But you have to let the creation takes its course and soon it shows other facets: ascending notes of cedarwood stir forth, blending harmoniously with well-tempered and finely tuned frankincense. Green and earthy patchouly sounds from the depths, but is neither musty nor heavy. This is also due to the apparently reticent fragrant notes. The nose can recognize an energetic and clean musk and a subtle aquatic nuance can also be discerned.
Top Note: Pepper, Lemon
Heart Note: Frankincense, Cedarwood
Base Note: Patchouly
We discovered this line the old fashioned way – by traveling to Italy and combing the shops for treasures. At first it seemed we had simply found one outstanding fragrance – imagine our delight in discovering an entire line of exquisite scents from a brand with such an extraordinary, and virtually unknown, history. Farmacia SS Annunziata is one of Italy’s oldest brands and is believed to have been housed in the monastery of the Benedictine monks of St. Nicholas as early as the start of the fifteenth century.
